چکیده

An experimental assessment of burning behavior some aviation fuel and biodiesel obtained from waste oil mixture has been performed within this paper. The was sunflower palm (SFP) the mixtures consisted 10, 30 50% in regular fuel. is a Jet A + 5% Aeroshell 500 (called Ke) with being added for turbo-engine’s lubrication. So, used fuels were: Ke, Ke 10% SFP, 30% SFP. In first step, SFP characterized terms of: density, kinematic viscosity, flash freezing points calorific power. Also deeper analysis made by using FTIR all involved experiments. second step assessing chemical reactions that occur during process. Thus starting known elemental analysis, air needed stoichiometric reaction calculated each mixtures. resulting CO2 water reactions. third testing above mentioned on micro turbo-engine. engine Cat P80® provided Gunt Hamburg, Barsbüttel, Germany. variation rpm vs. time, temperature time debit are presented yield procedures. tests have conducted at 8 different working regimes engine. For regime, an 1 min period chose, which rpm, thrust force were monitored. maximum only calculus burning, thermal efficiencies specific consumption made. As main conclusion, steady throughout entire range blends fed, thus studied may be considered as sustainable applications turbo-engines advantages related to pollution raw materials allowing production type

Biodiesel as an Alternative Fuel for Diesel Engines

There is growing interest in biodiesel (fatty acid methyl ester or FAME) because of the similarity in its properties when compared to those of diesel fuels. Diesel engines operated on biodiesel have lower emissions of carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, particulate matter, and air toxics than when operated on petroleum-based diesel fuel. Production of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) from rap...

Comparison study of biodiesel fuel production from sunflower oil using by ultrasound and heat

In this research, a comparison of biodiesel produced by ultrasound and heat methods was investigated. Methanol was used as the alcohol with molarity 3, 6 and 9 and KOH 0.5, 1 and 1.5 wt.% As a catalyst. In ultrasound technique, five vibrating pulse levels and three time levels were used. The results indicate that biodiesel produced by ultrasound in some properties includes a flash point of abou...

Non-Edible Karanja Biodiesel- A Sustainable Fuel for C.I. Engine

Biodiesel are becoming popular as alternative eco-friendly fuel now days. The petroleum product requirement is going on increasing day by day in India with limited resources in the oil pool. Crisis of petroleum fuel and import of fossil fuel is giving a high impact on the economy and development. Besides the economy and development, fossil fuel also leads to a major problem like global warming ...

Modeling of Compression Engines Using Biodiesel as Fuel

A single zone C.I engine model has been developed in an in-house code that would be suitable for conventional diesel as well as for alternative fuel (biodiesels), to predict the pressure and temperature variation along crank angle, work done, mean effective pressure, power output and other engine parameters suitable for biodiesel. The model has been validated with the experimental results. Perf...
